"Quite fast" is overstated I'd say.. Since the server moved to Europe lots of people from China complained about the loading speed. It might have little impact for people living in countries with better Internet though.
The Firefox's Web Console is reporting:
The site specified an invalid Strict-Transport-Security header.
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/HTTP_strict_transport_security
Seems like it would be trivial to fix.

https://yande.re/tag_alias doesn't function as expected.
If you attempt to add an alias which doesn't already exist as a tag, it creates a new general tag for the alias (which then needs to be deleted), and changes the type of the alias target to general (which then needs to be reverted).
Neither of these actions should occur, or rather it currently seems to be doing the exact opposite of what should be done in this case.

I was aware of this bug, but it doesn't happen too often since most of time we are combine two pre-defined (type) tags.Cyberbeing said:

Improve on the website's design. I'm not saying to ditch danbooru, just rewrite some CSS files.
I think there should be a way to see if you favorited a image rather than clicking on it to see.
If I'm searching for stuff I tend to add "-vote:azarel" to the search so it doesn't show the ones I've already favorited. Is that the kind of feature you had in mind?Mothman said:

I tried -vote:1:fireattack -vote:>1:fireattack or something like them and never find the right way to make it work.
Ah yes, thanks man.Azarel said:

When i rightclick an image and "save as" i get a broken 140~ kb file, i have to rightclick the "Download PNG" and save link as.
This bug Only occurs on yande.re and has persisted since the server move/change. Using latest firefox, 34.0.5. An improvement would be to fix this bug if its on yande.re's end.

I used to have similar problem but can't reproduce it now. Could you provide an example?Ew said:

The reason behind this is yande.re checks refer when you're trying to download images.
When you open the image in a separate tab and right click to save it, its refer actually changes to https://files.yande.re/* (instead of normal https://yande.re/*) which is not allowed by server, thus you ended up downloading a 403 webpage.
Normally you shouldn't encounter this bug, because the just opened image should always be cached by your browser. However, the recent version of Firefox has a bug that sometimes it won't cache (relatively) large image when your disk cache is full (i.e. it doesn't replace the old cache with new one).
You can right click the image and choose "view image info" to see if it shows "Unknown (not cached)".
A temp way to solve it is by clear your disk cache manually.
*shakes fist at Firefox* thanks that explains it. now i can stop pulling hairs.
In About:config this string browser.cache.disk.capacity;0 . Is the error, cache capacity zero. set it to browser.cache.disk.capacity;50000 and tadah works as intended. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Hey Checkmate?
This is off topic but I'm curious.

Apparently you can always change user's name by manually manipulating the database.. but I don't think we will offer this feature at large.AZD-A9S said:

Manipulating?
That doesn't sound good.
Anyway, thanks for the answer fireattack.

Excuse me for my poor Engrishi :p
It's something that's possible to do on a lot of 'forum' type implementations. Another forum I go to allows this with certain restrictions. For an image board it's slightly pointless imo.
From my understanding, there's a display name, which is what people see, and then there's a user ID, which is static. The display name can be shown as whatever you allow it. The ID is what the database refers to for any information. So long as the service knows that name == id it doesn't really matter.

Reporting assumed bug, as it has prevailed for a long time.
Take, for example, the page: https://yande.re/post/popular_by_month?month=11&year=2013
When clicking the "move to the next month"-button (the link next to the month name on the right side of the text), the link directs to the same page as displayed; no problem with the "previous month"-button, though.
Assumed behavior would be, of course, a link to the next month and not to the currently viewed one.

I never say it's not possible, what I was trying to say is admin2's name change doesn't mean we already have this kind of system. And no matter how easy the implementation could be, it still need someone, namely edogawacanon, work on it.DarkRoseofHell said:

And I just don't understand why we need such nickname system in the first place.
