Because a lot of people here are leechers, without contributing anything back, and ALL of those books shared here will end up in Chinese websites which demand people to purchase coins/points to download. They also post our shared books to hosts that require people to be premium member in order to download.

That's why I stopped sharing here. If they ask me first I can figure something out or at least post them one by one so people wouldn't leech them all over the place.

Well, thank you for sharing your scans NhiDongSunRang, they are really nice. Even if they weren't meant for the rest of us, lol.

I do have to say though, it's impossible to expect anything to be private on the internet. Once you share something, it's going to be re-uploaded, whether you like it or not.

I've bought and uploaded a fair amount of books and whatnot myself, and yeah, they're everywhere within a week. But the whole point was to share them with people who like that type of resources, so what do I have to complain about. Besides, I don't own the copyright to any of it. Being angry that other people share the stuff I literally don't own myself is kinda hypocritical.

It might feel like people are just ungrateful pricks who refuse to buy and upload things themselves, but not everyone have the resources and/or time to buy and scan things, especially if you live in countries where import taxes and shipping cost almost just as much as the items you're buying. I'm old with a job, so I can afford to share things, but younger people might not.

And as for the Chinese "stealing" our books... Does it even really matter? We "steal" their stuff too. I have tons of Chinese How to Draw books shared from Yandere. Nobody really seems that concerned about crediting whoever bought and scanned those on our side either.

Either way, I think someone else uploaded your scans, since GarthEnnis PM'd me like a week ago asking how to join your private Discord so he could share his own books that he owned. It's possible you're angry at the wrong guy.

Every so often I get people PM'ing me how to join it, but I'm not entirely sure who runs it now, and I decided to not be part of it because I don't like clique things like that. So you guys might want to post some kind of update post on how to join if you want to keep that thing going.

I would say take some time off to recompose yourself. I am extremely grateful for you sharing the books that you do here and can't tell you how much they've helped. I hope that you will continue to share and feel like you are appreciated because your efforts do matter and this might sound cliche. Thank you for contributing the scans here as they are very helpful in helping to visualize and study anatomy in a different way.

Of for beginner at drawing characters in general, you can just try Andrew Loomis' books instead of these, they're old and easy to find online (and the text is in English and actually quite insightful), and after you have more experience with drawing in general you can search for something in manga style in particular
