I just bought this book from honto but I don't know how to decrypt the jpg file. I've included the originals files which I found in honto's appdata folder. Hope someone can help decrypt them to a readable format.

There is no epub file as far as I know. Maybe it's stored somewhere else, but when I search the disk for 'epub' there is only a folder name 'epub' containing the jpg files in appdata\local. I can't open it up so I'm hoping someone can help me with it so I can share the book properly.

I am trying to get it to work, could you copy your C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\DNP folder entirely and upload it ? i have been trying to get it to work myself but so fare it is not recognizing the files you uploaded already.

We may not be able to decrypt the honto epub files, so you may have to open the book in the honto viewer and zoom in on each page then copy it in parts then stitch it together in a photo editor.

Denki happily left these steps for us on buying kindle books.

Buying and releasing kindle books from amazon.co.jp

1) Get a VPN or find a someone in Japan willing to give you SSH access to their Unix box.
without a japan ip you will have a 5 book limit and also if you purchase a book some will lock you out untill you use a japan VPN.

2) Get a Tenso address and phone number

3) Register on Amazon.co.jp
a. Make sure your 1 click settings are correct, you use Tenso information.

4) You can pay with a credit card from any location.

5) Set up kindle for PC and use it for the books you buy from amazon.co.jp.

6) Now convert them to .pdf document with calibre:
