Basically I'm looking to buy a Multifunction 11 x 17/A3 scanner/printer. There's Epson and Canon, and forget Brother. I'm hoping to scan oversize artwork and avoid merging or stitching. I know there are dedicated A3 scanners, but they are $2400+

If anyone has had experience with the above MFC products, I would like an opinion as to which scanner is the best in sharpness and color reproduction. Print is a plus so which would accept B4 (JIS) paper for borderless printing?
I have Vuescan and that gives me more control over most scanners on the market compared to the stock software that comes with it.
