Any effective way to remove color fringing in artwork?
It seems to be popular with some artists to split the black linework into cyan at one side and red on the other. it's much like chromatic abberation in photography and I wonder if any here have found an effective way to get rid of it, whether technique, software or plugin.

Playing with the defringing controls in Adobe Camera Raw removes most of it, but there has to be something better.
Without the original image, and the layers, it's going to be difficult.
True and aside from paid content, that's not going to happen.

Still it's like any flat photo with fringing, so at least it can be reduced if not eliminated. Lightroom is an inexpensive way of doing it if Photoshop is out of the question.
