True and while we're on the topic of "legal" view of things, artist will routinely tell viewers to not reproduction their works without permission. Now considering this is the Internet and everything, can the artist in question really prevent his/her work from being reproduced and/or display on other sites? Can posting people artwork on the internet without their permission and/or knowing a crime in this day of year?
BTW, What you call a site like Moe anyway? I had a few times while talking to Pixiv artist where I had to describe Moe/Danbooru to them and I always used the phrase "It's fan workship image dumping grounds." Not even sure they're a proper term for a site like Moe.

Well only real way the artist can "prevent" the spread is by A)not distributing it in first place, B)be a governement techy who can block and delete stuff on the 'net, C)a file suit where they have written proof and a warning on the image(original)
And most of time only way it can be crime and punish is by Option C which i listed above.
A site like Moe is what many people I know call a "Community-Based Anime/Series Imageboard" I call it that myself sometimes... But as you say probably isnt a "proper" term for Moe.

AZD! Since I've come to notice(I might be wrong ^_^' ) that you add the newest mashiroiro symphony pic as your ava of uryu. Also it's a rather a new image so yu might've not noticed. II - Check things on my Favorite Tag List on Moe
III - Check things on my Favorite Tag List on Danbooru
IV - Check Moe Forum for any highlighted threads
