Who knows. Some people do did to scam people are weak-willed, thinking that the end is near so they give up all their money, property, and possessions. (believe it or not some people in America are that stupid and indeed will do such things)

And Azarel your so right because I know I wouldn't want to predict something if I don't get to say the "I told you so" line, because that's like whole point and in predicting something, JUST so you can "I told you so."

So Newton predicted that the world won't end at least until 2060. past that point he wins, and if the world really ended everybody would be too dead to blame him.
