She's an Oni and Oni's like to drink. She's drunk all the time. The way she fights and her stance is cute in the Touhou fighting games. I really love her theme song in TP 7.5.
her name's suika ibuki, she's an oni, maybe even the last oni in gensokyou. she loves drinking, that is the ibuki gourd she's holding.... (ah as azd said, it has infinite sake in it... i think it is the source of their power as well? there, you happy?) ah... she first appeared as a boss in a doujin game called touhou immaterial and missing power... then a normal character in scarlet weather rhapsody, subterranean animism and unthinkable natural law...

Thanks for the info - I have a copy of 12.3 (Unthinkable Natural Law) with the 10.5 (Scarlet Weather Rhapsody) characters and she's in there - not sure which game she's actually from :) I haven't played with her before but I fired her up and she certainly can't walk a straight line :)

Well natsumenatsu already said it. Suika is from Touhou 7.5: Immaterial and Missing Power. That's her debut. The first fighting game of Touhou.
