45 minutes lineart last night .. 3 hours coloring today. Eyes was done last, so a bit tired x_x

What program do you use that you are able to do lineart in 45 minutes? Takes me several hours for lineart.

either illustrator or inkscape were used
this is a fairly simple trace after all so 45 minutes for the lineart is believable

or at least i could do something similar in that amount of time if i wanted

the question here is how much time was spent fixing errors afterward?

SAI actually.. The lineart was easy, the 45 minutes came from changing the line width in some of the places so they wasn't so static.

The coloring is also quite easy to do tooo.. There arent many hard place to fix thus the fast timer.

Is your lineart actually lines? The way I do mine I basically trace around the lines and turn it into a shape on the top layer. It usually takes me forever to do.

Paint tool SAI has changed the history of digital trace. you can vector anything with it like using pencil. not much time nor experience are required.

yep.. SAI have lineart layer which speed up a lot of time for for vectoring..

I just downloaded and tried that program, looks a bit like Photoshop, I couldn't figure it out or find the tools that Illustrator has, guess I'll just stick with that and have it take longer.

A little venture towards youtube will yield a lot of tutorials on at least the functionality of the tools. Its stripped down to the bare bones compared to PS and Ilustrator, yes .. but for those tool that it has, it does it exceeding well, far much better then those other 2.

I do missed the gradient mesh tool from ilustrator, but thats more like a luxury tool rather then a necessity.. and its possible to replicate in SAI.

No transparent option tho, even for png, so had to export it to PS. Thats the only downside.

I haven't looked at the program but can't you use reshack to translate the interface?
