Welcome back to 1998! I guess some among you were not even born at this time...

Brave CRT monitors... I miss you so much (even if I don't hate flat monitors)! ;__;
I started working in '98. God I'm getting old.
Love how you younger folks get big eyed seeing electronics that aren't flat and thin.

The CRT TV I played Nintendo on when I was in school still used vacuum tubes to control the vertical sweep and oscillation, no solid state transistors in that stage of the circuitry. Montgomery Ward was the brand name. It's biggest feature was that it had a color picture.

Now granted it was an old tv even at that time, I'm not grandpa age. :P

Grandpa!
I was in college in 1998 - but laptops had started to come out. I have absolutely no nostalgia for CRT's though
I have plenty of nostalgia for 5:4 aspect ratio displays. :(
Wow 1998....
I was baby at that time :)
oh this bring back memories
1998... i was college student but i'm using this CRT monitor until 2011

same for me... but at that time the whole computer (as same as monitor) was already useless.
I'm using a CRT right now. I can't upgrade until I find a widescreen as tall as this monitor, and it wouldn't be cheap.

30" monitors typically have 2560x1600 resolution which should be good. But yeah, they're not exactly cheap :/
For a change of topic: what is that thing left of the keyboard? USB-mascot-holder?
Also - that gadget on top of the computer?
