kimono shino_(eefy) wallpaper

Edit | Respond

There are "sino", "茨乃" and "シノ". Plz use sino for "sino", shino_(eefy) for "茨乃" and shino for "シノ".
We got plenty of same names because Japanese names are distinguished with Chinese characters. hence I start to thinking is it possible to adding artist tags with Japanese/Chinese character?
yea..would be nice..since when you need to search something out moe..you have the original kanji name..without ( sometimes ) wrong romanizations.
You can add aliases (http://moe.imouto.org/tag_alias). An alias from てぃんくる to "tinkle" will tell the search what to do if you search for てぃんくる, etc.
User ArtistDB ( http://moe.imouto.org/artist ) .
Aurelia/vistigris/Lua maybe and me add many aliases here.
is it o.k. if I'm using Japanese name on first uploarding?
sometimes romanization takes me more time than scanning itself. and when I did, searching artist's original name must become difficult -_-

Sure. You can leave the name in the comment or tag it, and I'll try to look it up for you.
thanks aurelia :)
however, the artist db seems haven't "てぃんくる".
thus I'll upload scans with Japanese name tag if it weren't hit on the artist db on moe. because all artist's name should have their original name.
artist db and tag db are different..
I know. just notification that this artist hasn't original name on artist db.
btw, coudn't it make possible that alias search also works on posts/tags pages? it seems only work on artists page.
http://moe.imouto.org/post?tags=amr searches for ikegami_akane, etc. (It won't do search suggestions off them, though.)
ikegami_akane is aliased from what i can see..so why http://moe.imouto.org/post?tags=池上茜 doesn't return any result?
I never added it when I updated it last time :)

I wouldn't have known it first hand ^^

池上茜 isn't aliased...

not sure the difference of "alias for" & "aliases", and they are different from tag alias?
I'm confused >_>
That's from the artist entry (http://moe.imouto.org/artist/update/89). We don't use the artist db, though, it doesn't really do anything. I don't recommend making wiki entries or artist entries for artists.

Searches use tag aliases: http://moe.imouto.org/tag_alias?query=ikegami_akane
So how do we put 池上茜 into alias so one can just search for "池上茜". I'd rather search with japanese names than romanizations..faster imo. (if all it requires is adding an alias). Tried but failed.

And the alias in aritistDB != alias in tagDB.. Only the latter can be used for commen search. =D
tag db hasn't useful amount of contents, hence it's meaningless in this condition -_-
Everyone searches by romanization, so nobody fills it in, but it's there if you want to use it.
I should've used original names as tags while uploading new artists, then romanize them later. romanization lacking original name just messed up searching.
Just add a tag alias to alias the search.
not only me, I'd like to suggest everyone to leave the clue of original artist name in someway. I already forgotten some artist's name characters.
I can never think that *random* romanizations are superior than the originals, therefore when I haven't time to make a tag db, I'd like to leave original name first then make alias in another day.
It's great to have the artist's Alias too, but many of us cannot read it even if. For those that do know it, add it along with the romanjized name, but for here. The romanji should be more important.
without personal language skill, Google can read Japanese. but can't read random romanizations. thus romanize first way make difficult to get artist information.
and more than that, It's pain for me to do uploading & romanization sametime. give me a break >_>
Yeah, many romanizations can only find in DanboooruS..
