The Japanese word for hermaphrodite, ‘futanari’ (双成り) literally means “made of a pair”. Although technically it can be used to refer to hermaphrodites that would seem either fully male or fully female aside from their genetalia, futanari images are almost exclusively of hermaphrodites with otherwise feminine features, i.e. “dick girls”.
