Circles represent an artist or groups of artists producing doujinshi. On this site, the circle type tag also refers to studios or softhouses like Cuffs that make erogames. Circle tags are distinguished by their cyan color. The full list of circle tags in use is available here, and circles that have information associated with them are also found in the artist database. Create a new circle tag or change an existing tag to the circle type by prefixing the name with "circle:" (example circle:heart_work, Suzuhira Hiro's circle).

Doujin products should be tagged with the artist(s)'s circle. Official materials for games done by an artist in a certain circle should not, but instead tagged with that game's studio. Animation studios like Sunrise or Kyoto Animation need not be tagged. If you don't know which artist in a multiple-member circle illustrated a certain image, just having the circle tag will suffice.
