For those trying to find all of the books in the original "How to Draw Manga" series published by The Society for the Study of Manga Techniques, in English, you have probably noticed that several of them do not exist in scanned form, and several more exist only in defective scans, or only in languages other than English. I have started a project to correct that, at least for most of the volumes. Some of them are hard to find at anything like a reasonable price for the dead tree edition.
I have finished scanning and editing one book which previously has not been scanned at all: volume 8, Super Basics. You can get it here: https://archive.org/details/8-how-to-draw-manga-super-basics and also here: https://e-hentai.org/g/1649192/0da4fedcec
I'm more than half way finished with volume 24: Occult and Horror. I am working with two scans of that volume, one in English and one in Japanese, and editing them into one readable English scan. After that, I have quite a stack of volumes in the series which I have purchased and will scan as I have the time: volumes 9, 10, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 22, 25, 27, 31, and 39.
