「日本」のイメージで思い浮かんだものが「日本画」でした。日本画の大胆かつ繊細な筆使いを思い私なりに描いてみました。伝統の技には遠く及びませんが余韻の残る一枚になればと思います。
The image conjured in my mind by the word ‘Japan’ is that of a traditional Japanese painting and in producing this work I tried to adopt the same bold, yet delicate, brushstrokes.
