この絵を描くにあたり、日本がテ一マという事で色々なモチーフを考えてみましたが、強く浮かんだのが日本の祭りのイメージでした。日本に限らず祭リというものには長い歴史があり、古くからのスタイルを変えずに残るもののように思います。
日本では各地で特色ある祭りもありますが、今回は若干ファンタジー風味を入れつつ、こことは違う何時か何処かで行われているのだけれど、日本の色が感じられるような風景とキャラクタ一を思い浮かべて描かせていただきました。
The theme for this exhibition is ‘Japan’, and I considered various motifs but of them all, the one that made the strongest impression was that of Japanese festivals. It is not just Japan, festivals everywhere have a long history and they generally preserve an ancient style.
Japan has numerous festivals unique to the places where they are held, but in this picture I have produced something of a fantasy. It may belong to a different time and place, but when I drew it, I imagined scenery and characters that would create an impression of Japan. , height:150, width:150, x:225, y:304 |
