Odd, there is only 14 in the index, but I found 63 toradora! sketch monochrome and there was also 10 toradora! sketch -monochrome from a tag search. I thought the only way to see held posts was holds:true and via pools.
(they weren't all tagged at the time)

They're not held, they're not shown in index - as in show in index is unchecked. Check some of the images in the pool and see for yourself.

Forgot about that box. Still doesn't answer why they didn't just use the hold tag.

Usually it's a good idea to hide pages like the index, all-text images, or some monochromes from the index. Holding posts is just to tag/pool them before releasing, not for permanent storage.
