Another JPEG recovery. I wish there was something we could hit people with to make them stop fixing JPEGs. Cleaned it up a bit, too...
Something PNG can be a real pain in the ass, that or Moe's JPEG download system. Really wished it would allow one to download the actual sized image in JPEG format.

Do you mean like "Download larger version (2.2 MB JPEG)":

"The actual size" maybe implies the resizing of JPEG versions (downscaled to 3500px)
" garter belt lingerie pantsu stockings" Whenever I look at this now I'll remember Panty and Stocking.
I'm curious as to why anyone would want a JPG with over 3500px instead of a PNG.
A better question would be why anyone would want a image with over 3500px on either side in the first place?
Editing, reprinting, and bootlegging. :p

I'll go with bootlegging for now and to actually answer your question it depends on how much file size you're willing to spend on image storage and/or if you have a steady job.

If it's an image I like, but am not deeply in love with (like this one), I'll go with the JPG instead of the PNG because I don't want to use as much space for it. For something I really love dearly (like all of Tinkle's works), I'd probably get both. The JPGs are easier/quicker to scan through with Irfanview (or probably any viewer) because the file size is lower. But the PNGs are nice to have in case I decide to do any kind of image editing, wallpapers, etc. ヾ(´▽`*;)ゝ
That looks very cute cute love me
Manabi: Sorry, you still didn't answer my question. |ω・)ノ彡┻━┻
Don't mind it though, I don't think anyone would have any reason to do what I asked about lol.

Sure I did, the answer is to save hard drive space. (*゜▽゜)* In the case of this image the difference is 14.5MB. I don't like it enough to want to use 16.7MB of space, but 2.2MB is fine. And I'd prefer the larger JPG over the smaller preview simply because it'll have more detail. ( ̄ー ̄)
Erm, if you haven't noticed, the "Download larger version (JPG)" option limits height or width to 3500px.
As in the JPG versions won't go over 3500px.

Yeah, but that's fine when I'm trying to save space anyway, and it's an image I'm not dearly in love with. It's also much larger than the preview image is, so it's a nice trade-off for those type of images. (*´ー`)
uploading png is for both png downloaders and jpeg downloaders.
uploading jpeg is for only jpeg downloaders

be sure, there exist people who can see the difference between png and the maximum quality jpeg though. the difference can be visible with naked eyes (but many people don't know this fact).
Manabi: Yes I know, but my question dealt with JPGs that would otherwise be over 3500px.... Just forget it. .-.

I know that, I was saying that I'm willing to take the trade-off in image size in those cases in order to have the smaller filesize. Basically if I want the JPG over the PNG version I'm not that concerned about high quality anyway, so the image being smaller than full size isn't an issue. I'm just wanting something larger than the preview image because it tends to be too small for details to show up in many cases. (´ ▽`)
Yes, I said I know. And I said I was asking why anyone would want JPGs with more than 3500px on either side, not under. But don't mind it. DONT MAINDO!
personally, I would like a "screen size" jpg option for pics that are over 2000px wide - I like to put windows in a slide-show screen-saver, and sometimes it chokes on the big pics.
