over 13 years agoMaybe it's a good idea to introduce some Ads from China, from online shops that sale anime peripheral products (there're so many such online shops in China), or the sites provide anime download service (such download service was enjoined by the Chinese government so they may have the will advertising abroad.)

over 13 years agoBasing on the highres image service of imouto, what's the best business model for it? Ads? or just donations?
Months ago when I saw imouto asking donations, I'm so worried about it and began to think if there is a way to enlarge the income. Then I began to ask myself some questions:
1. What's the key feature of imouto?
2. Why the visitor like it and what's the latent demand of them?
3. How to use it to make money?
After I answered these questions, the way is pretty clear:
The additional Printing Service.
The key feature of imouto is highres image, which is good for printing. And when a guy found a favorite, he may have the big will to print it out, such as making a dakimakura, a super big poster, a bedsheet, a collection book, a T-shirt, a cup and so on. Actually there're already so many Chinese using the highres image on imouto to make money. The price is much cheaper than original ones from Japan, easy to get and you could customize it. Fortunately there won't be a copyright problem out of Japan.
And how to carry it out? It's so easy:
1. Make a phone call, find a printing service agent in each country(except Japan), who could provide high quality printing service in varied forms.
2. Add a "Print" link for each image, when someone click it, lead him to the local service page of agent base on his IP address.
3. When the deal finished, draw commission from the agent.
