Yuyake no Miko (Shrine Maiden at Sunset)

I often draw miko (shrine maidens) but rarely depict them at sunset so I decided to make that my challenge for this picture. Although it is a bit late in the season, I used a shrine full of blooming cherry trees for the background. The image I tried to create was one of her stopping work for a moment to watch the cherry blossom petals falling in the breeze like snow.
Thank you very much for giving me the valuable opportunity to participate in the ‘Eshi 100’ exhibition. I will do my best to ensure that I am able to continue working as a manga artist.
