This picture looked fanart-ish, but is it fanart though? Since there is that label on the corner right that is usually used for posters on Megami or Nyantype. Because if it is official art, it's kind of shitty though, worse than DEEN quality. I think Aqua's poster on Megami's last issue looked better than this one.

Please tell me it' a fanart... as a Megumin fan, I'm kind of disappointed

I feel like they weren'teven trying. All the pictures look werid. Most of the pictures looks rushed or the girls have bad proportions

This is apparently the kind of artists/quality we get for lolis anymore (if we get any at all) in these magazines.
The art remind me of the latest Illya or Nanoha ViViD illustrations.

Looked up the person responsible just now. (http://i.imgur.com/znKfm4E.jpg) He's usually credited as prop designer and is one of the key animators for the show. Rough sketches usually pass through the animation director for revisions, if necessary. Thanks for the info. I was wondering though, why the lines need to be this discontinuous even considering it's a rough..
