I dont get you... Rly...
To remove some almost invisible jpg artifacts you resized this image from 4000 to 3493, saved it as png resulting in 11 times larger file and didnt even correct main errors like the BIG FAT AND UGLY dot on the swimsuit of the greenhead?
No surblur or whatsoever either... WT ?
Besides although the line artis are gone, large areas of same color now are not of same color (like color noise or something)...

Or was this the source and the one from apaper upped it to 4k ?
even so, both pics still need some cleaning

If you're so against him cleaning up scans, then be against it quietly. I personally appreciate the fact the he took the time to upload a decent version of the scan. Also, the artifacts may be almost invisible to you, but I see them well enough, and I'm sure there are other people who can see them too. Nobody is forcing you to download this one, if you prefer the jpg, then get it, that is what it's there for after all.

the site is still small, the amount of dups, too. If there are now 2+ versions of every scan this will change pretty quick.
Besides this scan isnt cleaned...
I was just wondering if this is the original and the animepaper one is just resaved+enlarged or if this is downsized+deartifacted+saved as png.

And as said this isnt a cleaned up scan, either.

It's not cleaned, but it's not riddled with artefacts like it's jpg counterpart. Which means if you want to clean it yourself, it's a lot easier.
