Sedna is the Inuit goddess of marine animals. (Shown by the bubbles, swimsuit and waves, etc.) Several myths suggest she angered her father and he tossed her over the side of a boat. When she clung to the sides, he chopped off her fingers. (This explains the bandaged hands.) When she descended into the depths of the sea, she became the goddess of sea creatures.
