yea she kinda went and had her hair down... have you noticed that most of the characters in this grow their hair out long? like Hayate she grew it out in Force Mana. Also Nanoha, Fate, Signum, Teana, Caro, Shari, Ginga, Rein, Vita does have long hair when its down but it looks short with her braids i think... hmmm who else...

With Teana i think they were trying to get her to look more older / professional since shes being an enforcer etc.. hence why the long hair. If she had twin tails she'd look cute and not older. But yeah i wouldn't mind seeing that too i kinda miss them now! But still we get a double BONUS, she goes all busty *big... chest* in this series, especially in force manga :P lol
