Well, color is certainly better than monochrome, but Ishikei is actually an artist that produces good looking monochrome images.

LOL. I'll have to disagree with you on that one. There _are_ artists - Ishikei included - who do good monochrome images, but I find that most of them really aren't all that good. Of course, there are plenty of bad color images as well, but I find that it's almost always a guarantee that color is far better than monochrome.
