Users can set an avatar from an existing post; click "Set Avatar" on the post page. Drag and resize the box on the larger image to select what will be shown as your avatar. Then click "Set Avatar" under the preview image on the right to finish.

Clicking someone's avatar brings you to the post it's from.

There is no avatar blacklisting. Keep the avatars reasonably clean; rating:q is probably fine. (You can use any image as source, though.)

Explicit avatars are not allowed. If your avatar is explicit, it will be changed so that the explicit part of the image is not visible in the avatar. Changing your avatar multiple times so that it is explicit will result in punishment.
