Faults: scanning resolution (Version 3)
The resolution of the scan is unnecessarily high (usually applied to scans with a DPI over 600).
Printing resolution varies with the quality of the item/publication, but the standard is 350DPI. Most scans look best in the 300-360DPI range. Scanned images above 600DPI should be scaled down before being posted on the site.
