2bit AM screening 150 lpi
a printing method used by most monochrome mangas. it consists of black/white dots lined 150 per inch. it requires 600 dpi source data.

8bit AM screening 175 lpi
a printing method used by most artbooks and posters. it consists of 256 tone scalable dots lined 175 per inch, and folding 4 channels (CMYK) with different angeles. it requires 350dpi source data

8bit AM screening 200~300lpi
a printing method used by high quality photo art books and some doujinshis.

FM screening
a printing method used by some doujindhis. it matches 300lpi AM quality, but it has color inconsistency because of its randomly dotting.

Hibrid screening
a printing method used by some doujinshis. it's a newest printing method mixing AM and FM. it matches 300~500lpi Am quality, and there is no color inconstency.

AM screening 65~133lpi
a printing method used by papers, cheap mags, and fabric goods.
