I would like to know if anyone has a complete collection of the How to draw manga series? After going threw the past posts crime said all of the HTDM books where uploaded here but not viable for download...hmm well anyone have any ideas as where to get scan's of vol. 9,15,16,17,31,37,39,41, and 43 i have everything else lol

yeah, that too, and i have also noticed some of the Chinese releases seem to have been traced from the official Japanese released book...though it shouldn't be hard to find a Japanese release unless it went out of print.K@tsu said:

The best way to unbind would be
1.An iron to heat the glue at the spine and then pull it out from its cover and then separate the pages and scan them normally then just heat it back up and put it back together.

I have a hairdryer I don't use anymore... but id rather use an iron. Using an iron on a book feels better.... maybe it's from the sadist side of me...

XD using the iron sounds good, just don't want it to melt the glue too much and make a mess on the paper. looking forward to the results though XD, also you want to be able to separate the pages with little force as to not tare the pages.

I have good news and bad news....
bad news: the glue wouldn't melt for me to take the pages off.
good news: I have a new folding method where you just folding it in the scanner which makes it scan even better.
The book I tried the iron method got a little damaged, but the source images are still untouched and thats all that matters. It was worth the sacrifice for experimenting a little.
