Scans of tutorial books

I have the scan of How to Draw Moe Idol done. I'm uploading it now. It's taking forever ;-; my computer is so slow. Sorry :c

animefan01, I think the other book I got on how to draw moe lolita will help you with your character design.

It seems a little more geared towards digital artists than that group's other books. It kind of sucks for me since my tablet died recently, but I'm borrowing someone else's for now.

The moe lolita book is a little different from what I expected. Some of the purportions (legs to torso especially) seem a little off in my opinion. However, it shows body balance, gesture, and tons of cutesy/lolita poses.

I think the idol book I am uploading now is my new favorite. The lolita one I bought isn't my all time favorite, but I'm really glad I bought it. It also talks about composition of your drawing. Like i said, it seems a little different from other books by that group.

I'll scan it after I give my arms a little rest ;-;

Nice can't wait, any book that helps us improve. as long as it's not crappy inconsistent drawing instructions, I can always learn something from it, and thx for your hard work.

Here's just a little bit about the book that I noticed that I thought I'd mention...
This book in particular seems quite different than other books I've read by this group. I don't know if that's because it was maybe made earlier than the others or maybe because there were so many different artists contributing.
First of all, I feel like it includes more digital art tips than ones I've read previously. I don't at all think that this would be exclusive to digital artists, but more that this book includes more of those things. Usually I'd be happy about this, but I don't really have a tablet right now... well.. I'm borrowing someone's. I feel like some sections of this book are not as useful to traditional artists.
Another thing I noticed was that this book seems less of a "cute" book, showing you examples of some basic anatomy and whatnot, but more of an actual tutorial book. In my opinion, even though the proportions on some of the drawings aren't as accurate as they could be, I see this book really talks about gesture and attitude. The sketches (black and white pages) seem more informative, even if they are not as "moe." If that makes sense. Gesture will help your character look full of life, even if they are in a neutral pose. I think it's important for everyone to learn, so I'm really glad that they really went over this part. However, I think that, especially for beginners (even though I totally am one ;-;) the proportions might throw people off. Incorrect practice is one of the worst things ever... I've known from experience. Only some of the proportions were off, but I think it was enough to notice.
In addition to teaching gesture, this book also has an entire section on composition. Out of all of the tutorial/art books I've ever read in different languages, this one is definitely one of the ones I wish I could read the language for. Some of the composition tutorials aren't completely clear to me, but for the most part I feel like I understand it. I just wish that I could read it. I feel like it would be beneficial.
One more thing about the actual physical book itself, but not the content of it. In comparison to the Moe Idol book I received, this book seems as though it was made a little... cheaper. The Moe Idol book has a glossy finish on each of the pages. When I scanned it, I felt like the pages were bound tighter together. In this Lolita Fashion book, I was actually afraid that it would break while I was pushing down on the book to get rid of the shadows (or at least make them less visible.) Even comparing them after they have been scanned, the Lolita book looks warped in a way, where the Moe Idol book is almost completely back to normal. The pages on the Lolita book also cut my hands and fingers a few times because of the edges of the paper. I had no problems with the Moe Idol book's paper, though.
I'm wondering if the quality of the paper in the book has anything to do with where I bought it from or not. The Idol book was bought from Jbox (j-list) and the Lolita book was bought from animebooks.com. I'm just being picky, but I thought it's something I'd mention.

Also, why do these books read from left to right instead of right to left?

After looking for awhile, I found it scanned on mega through this link. Hopefully you can find it useful. The one you showed was interesting, too, though.

Thanks Phosai, James Gurney's book on color and light is a beautiful book, but it's for realist painters and it's not good for beginners. I expect a book which style like "How to draw manga" books.

I have gone through the entire thread and have found many requests for "Super Pose Book". There don't seem to be any links to any. If I am wrong or if anyone can make these available please let me know. I too have been searching for these books for quite some time. They are kind of the holy grail of pose reference books.
