oops, added to log rotation.
Rating changes are now shown in tag history, and can be undone and reverted in the same way as tags.
Moe's (not the other image servers) is running some test code, if you notice anything funny please post in the bugs thread, more details in a week.
You can now search for images via URL or upload within the UI at http://moe.imouto.org/post/similar (also in "more" under Posts). This is the same as using the iqdb search directly, but with the integrated interface.

Similar image search results now support blacklisting.

The searched image thumbnail is no longer hidden if there are no results. I frequently open several image search tabs, and then go back to check the results--without the thumbnail I can't tell which are which, so the "upload this image" link wasn't usable.

The main server is now running more intelligent connection limiting. It prevents a single IP from opening too many connections at once, without causing browser errors if triggered (which was a problem with mod_evasive). This should make the site more resilient against badly behaved robots, reduce problems with index images occasionally not showing up in some browser configurations, and should be transparent to normal browsers.
saki ran out of ram/swap and died for 7hours, if this occurs again I might consider upgrading it.
I'm trying some code to give better filenames when saving images. It cuts out tags (long tags first) if the filename would be excessively long. Let me know if anything breaks.

This doesn't break old URLs.
Any image that is older then 3 hours is now being served by saki
Main server earlier today had routing issues, it should be fixed.
Sluggish performance of the site should be resolved.
You can now vote for posts with the hotkeys 1, 2, 3 (` removes vote).
This is obscure but useful: you can now search for posts not voted for by a user (usually yourself) with eg. "-vote:petopeto". For example, to list all posts by another user that you havn't voted for: "user:admin2 -vote:petopeto".

"Remove vote" actually votes 0, so it won't re-list posts in this search.
You can now add to a pool with a specific sequence number with the metatag "pool:id:seq", rather than adding it and then having to track it down in the pool order page. This could also simplify batch-uploading pools using page numbers as the pool sequence number.
NIC died sorry for the outage
A single ad will be added to the site on the left sidebar.
