fixme
Let's start removing "fixme" for images that have been fixed. You can find these posts by searching for "fixed" and looking at the child post, and this way you can search for "fixme" and only get posts that actually still need to be fixed.

ed: Let's also not tag both parts of a split image as fixme. It just clutters the fixme search.
Soouuu... what should we do then? Put one of the section under a parent then?
That's what we do already.
Can I also remind people to use the 'duplicate' tag?

If you find duplicate images please make the image with the highest quality the parent, and use the duplicate tag on the child item. It makes life easier when cleaning dupes from the system.

What is a duplicate? 100% visual duplicate of the original scan. Variations of the original may be kept dependent on a mod decision.
Oh yeah. I don't remember if we covered this topic or not, but lets compare:

- Larger sized, but of lesser quality
- smaller sized but of better quality

which should we parent?
which should we parent?
Use your judgement. A mod will make the final decision on which to keep.

If it is a fresh upload, I would make it the parent, or the image will get lost in the index.
