We only delete duplicates, low res or poor quality scans. There was a scan-eating 'feature' a while back but it has hopefully gone away.
Way, way, back in the past it was mainly admin2 who uploaded scans, and he has a good eye for quality. Some of our newer members need to check the quality of their scans before uploading...

What about the pictures that over page 2167
(in my "memory",pictures on the very last page is not the same as what I've seen last month and before. Is it because of an order changing rule applyed to this site?

I have been flagging and deleting some old dupes. Any particular picture you can remember being on the last page? (They was a god awful mosiac which I deleted)

Disappearing Pictures
I'm trying to download pictures from the last page and found out the average quality of old pictures are better then new ones...
(well, that may be a wrong impression)
what I don't want to say (but have to) is that MOE is not a H site (I'm not saying H pictures are bad). H pictures without good quality make no sense!
...basically MY MOE PICTURES, DON'T DISAPPEAR BEFORE I'VE DOWNLOAD YOU GUYS....
