Personally It doesn't really bother me, but people should use common sense and include an English translation if they post an comment in a foreign language.
Normally I'd agree; it's on the rude side to post in an obviously different language than everyone else on a site is using.
But, encouraging participation from Japanese users is in the technical interests of the site--if one or two people over there decide to start scanning, they'll have an order of magnitude better access to materials (vs. cost) than anyone else here.
So, I'm willing to cut them more slack than I normally would; at least they're participating (vs. http://awstats.moe.imouto.org/awstats.moe.imouto.org.alldomains.html; that excludes images, so the bandwidth stat is low), even if just to tell us which category of foot fetish they have...

From my point of view..i'm seeing they're posting mixed foreign AND english in the comments. So they're either faggots that think to be cool, or they could just use english like everyone else. If they didn't know english they should've posted in japanese only..amirite?
No.
i heard moeren board hates english users, so we should hate japanese users (:
As long as no rules are broken we should welcome all with open arms (Other then those fuckers who sign scans)MDGeist said:

Japanese users are fine..but faggots are faggots regardless of the nationality.MDGeist said:

Wow, wouldn't have expected quite that many Japanese users. Well, it's not something I'm hugely bothered by, just thinking of the people who don't have any knowlege of the language really.petopeto said:

Hahaha ^^. It only bothers me when they use the foreign language without any translation.Radioactive said:

Since when are the comments on the images here serious discussions? Most of the people who comment are simply stating that they like the image. I would only view it as a problem if someone posted as such on the forum where communication is essential. It's kind of useless to go through the effort of translating "beautiful image thank you".
Not a big problem with comments. Not like they're gonna break the site or anything.
I randomly post stuff in spanish (my first language) and I don't think that may hurt anyone ;)

Yeah, as already mentioned, it's not really a problem since it's not a serious form of discussion as such, like a forum would be. I mostly just wondered what moe's policy on this was since most english language sites tend to enforce an english-only policy :)

Non-english comments
Failing that, at least add an english translation if you really must type in Japanese. It cuts down the amount of people who will actively comment/discuss things when they can't even understand what's being typed.
