PSA: PanaVue ImageAssembler now is free
It's old news, but I think it's worth to mention here.

The company stopped development and released the last version free for all. Very generous.

I often use this software to stitch images. It has better result (when manually stitching) than Photoshop when the overlapping is small. An example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gV8ah7zKQCM
Thanks for the information
Wow, I once pirated the software and now I feel a bit bad for this...

May I ask at the end of the video when you edit the images:
You use marquee tool and arrows, then you used a cut command, while keeping the cut pixel, and discard the area, which is the key shortcut that you used?

It's the command called "Crop" under Image menu. It has no shortcut by default, I personally assigned it to ctrl+shift+A.

For discarding area part, the shortcut is ctrl+D.

(I didn't use crop tool because I found marquee tool is faster (ctrl+A, move with arrows, ctrl+shift+A; and ctrl+D if needed) and more precise.)
Ah I see, I never assign any custom shortcut for Photoshop. Thanks for the tip.
