Try downloading the pool zip using DownThemAll! or another download manager (other then orbit) and see if it still fails. You could also use DTA to get all the images one by one.
I'll have a go downloading the pool and see if I get the same behaviour.

This is likely because the servers run linux, and by default linux has a 2GB filesize limitation.
This means that petopeto or admin2 would have to workaround this issue by either splitting large archives that exceed 2GB or recompiling the kernel with large file support.
To workaround the issue just download all the images with something like the DownThemAll Firefox extension, like Radioactive mentioned.

Any modern 32-bit Unix can handle 64-bit file sizes, but that's not how the ZIP serving works...
The ZIP file format needs special extensions for large file sizes, which we don't support yet. I guess I can probably implement the ZIP64 extensions. (It should probably work up to 4GB as-is, though...)

I was able to download the 2GB ZIP intact, and working, with DownThemAll! As I mentioned previously try using DTA as the download manager, or grab the scans on their own with it.
i just tried to download using DTA and my download stops at 2GB again..
i guess i will have to download pic by pic then..

Don't forget with DTA you can grab a page at a time. You don't have to DTA every scan.
i prefer wget... with automated generated downloadlists where you can force downloads from one server (like only ranka dl links)
I would also recommend http://www.httrack.com/ (Haven't used it here though)
Your hostname has the word "cache" in it. I'm guessing your ISP is proxy caching you, and the proxy is breaking large files. I think this is a common problem with ISP caches.
oh.. that might seems to be the reason though.. thanks~petopeto said:

pool download of file bigger than 2GB
link: http://moe.imouto.org/pool/show/635
would like to ask, is there any limitation to the downloads from the pool or is it just me?
i was using orbit with just 1 connection to this task to download, and my download always stops at exactly 2GB and keeps on trying to relink to the link..
i have tried to download 4 times and all have stop at 2GB.. none of the other pool download fails for me.. and well, at least most or all are at 2GB and below i guess..
