Some of your pics are wallpapers that would fit more in Konachan.
Others are fine.

"Uploading is the act of posting images on the website. Every last image on this site was uploaded by one of our members, so the main way to contribute to the site is by uploading quality images from various sources. Please only upload images that are greater than 1000 pixels in one dimension."VorpalNeko said:

That should be changed, yes. But scroll down a little farther and it says the minimum is 1000x1000 (last bullet point under "Upload Guidelines").bigchoofa/Wiki said:

Edit: Changed the Wiki to say: "Please only upload images that are greater than 1000 pixels in both dimensions."
I don't know where the "1000 pixels in one dimension" thing started (that's a useless definition of image size; 1000x1?), but you should look around a site a bit more before posting and understand what it's about if you don't want stuff getting deleted. The focus of this site is not signed 1024x768 wallpapers and even a casual look around should tell you that.
I will admit, after reading the first line there in the wiki, i thought that what i was posting was fine. I probably should have read just that little bit further
Yes, the focus is not on signed wallpapers, but high quality artwork and thats what i believe i was providing

The Danbooru Wiki sums it up fairly nicely:bigchoofa said:

Uploading one's own art is looked down upon. This is because it's generally thought that artists are biased when it comes to judging the quality of their own work. Only in very limited cases are such posts accepted, and posting sub-par creations of your own can result in being penalized. Understand the risks before considering posting your own work. More suitable sites to upload your own art to include Deviantart and Pixiv.
Oh so true. Oh so VERY true.
I will say that none of that was my art
In any case, i didnt research properly before posting, in which half of my posts today have been deleted, despite some being favourited by users of this site.
I hope my next try goes better :-P

"Please only upload images that are greater than 1000 pixels in both dimensions" That is not a necessary, gohanrice. We accept images that can be smaller than that but usually have to have pretty much top quality.
Just because your posted images are favorited by users does not mean anything. If the image doesn't meet specifications, old or new it will be deleted for a reason. We get very stupid image posted sometimes, but those are deleted on sight. This post has also been favourited by a user, so if there are people who are fine to look at it and like it, then why should it be deleted?
I posted a few times about the 1000x1000 dimensions, but that is just I go by, personally.petopeto said:

Disheartened to post...
I will say that im not familiar with any real specifics as far as posts go, especially concerning faults
One thing i did make sure to check was resolution sizing, and attempt to avoid posting 'low res' images. I managed to find a guideline/suggestion in the wiki section that posts over 1000 pixels in ONE DIMENSION would be appropriate as a minimum. I've currently had 4 deleted, all over 1000 in one dimension, and one flagged which i know is much higher than this, yet still flagged as 'low res' - post id 93205. This post has also been favourited by a user, so if there are people who are fine to look at it and like it, then why should it be deleted?
If anyone could elabourate a bit more on this, that would be excellent
Cheers, Choofa
