Legendary, if you like turning off your brain and just button mash to see a crappy char with no personality make gore sequences.
And no, it won't be the best action game, and you know why? Because it didn't impose any standards.
Dynamic movement? GOW doesn't even have that. DMC imposed it, Ninja Gaiden improved it.
Combo system? GOW's most used crap is the Square,Square,Triangle thing, which doesn't change that much even if you use different weapons. Once again, DMC imposed it, Ninja Gaiden forces you to use all the available combos for a lot of certain situations, and in both cases the combos are very different depending on the weapon you have equipped.
Game length? DMC and NG can easily last more than 20 hours in the first run, not counting the time you can take by beating them in higher difficult levels. All GOW games dated so far... 5? 6? The reruns aren't that better either.
Difficulty? GOW's is based just in the amount of enemies and the damage they deal (the AI is dumb at times too). DMC's is based in damage and the enemies being more aggressive. NG's is based in more complex AI and the addition of sub-bosses and other enemies the higher you go in difficult level.
Give more valid reasons than just "lol it's legendary because I liked it". Such thing sounds so poor and hype-based it gives me the impression the only thing you've played of the 3D-action genre is God of War.
There are more (better) exponents of the genre like DMC, Shinobi, NG, Gungrave, Otogi, etc. All of them gave the genre something. God of War hasn't... AT ALL.
