One word about child/parent posts.

Wouldnt it be better if newer posts are automatically marked as parent and rest as child and not the other way round?

That way, you could see new posts.

The parent is for the best post. It doesn't matter when it was uploaded. If admin2 wants child posts to be viewable in the main post/list even if they're inferior versions, I'm sure he can change the code to do that.

I think I would prefer it if the child posts were left viewable, but it may not be what admin2 wants to do.

Maybe a user option in the future?
I would agree on both parent and child visible with the corresponding marks of course but well that's admin2 who has the last word here
Well, it shows up in rss, but I dunno, don't really have a preference to this

It would be handy to list the child posts in the main screen.
upgraded to postgresql 8.3rc1 as well as updated to svn 1142

let me know if there's any weird issues

And http://moe.imouto.org/user/index shows the last user to join was 1 day ago. Quite possible, but a bit unusual as we have had a lot of people join recently.

Along those lines, it would be good if child posts recieved an outline/border just like the parent does. You can't tell a child is one unless you click on it.

Of course I'll ask Albert/rq this too, but if it's something you can do yourself easily, it'd be a nice addition.
Yeah looks like registration is currently bugged, will look in to it

and its fixed
Outline/Borders
Can you possibly increase the default outline/border size for parent posts/deletions etc?

Very difficult to see at 1920x1080

Other sites seem OK on my screen. I can try changing the settings on Firefox if it is too much of a pain?

I think he did change the borders from default -- but made them thinner. They're thicker on danbooru.donmai, but then it could just be albert that thickened from default.

I agree though, slightly wider is better. A couple pixels anyway.
I run 1600x1200 on a 19", so maybe that was my fault for making them too thin.

Back to the default it goes.

Cheers. Looks a lot better.

I'm 1680x1050 on a 20", so I could see them but they were a bit slim. Looks fine now though.
minor annoyance :
when you write a forum reply, forum is marked as "unread" (bold) so you have to go "Forum" and then to the thread again to make it normal again...

That's a problem of the software itself, it's happening on all boorus, you might report it to the official trac instead
http://trac.donmai.us, not sure if albert will fix it though, since it's so minor
MDG, the forum "read" function has a lot of "bugs" since it's based only one one metric: what time you've last read the forum.

Which is to say, if you have an entire forum of threads unread, and you click the top one, it'll mark them all read.

The bold thing is a minor annoyance compared to the fact that it doesn't actually -work-. Don't rely on it.
Two possible bugs:

I see child posts now have different coloured borders, but the y are still not showing in the main post area.

When I vote for an image I appear to be giving them a giving them a +5 !
When I vote for an image I appear to be giving them a giving them a +5 !
And -5 if I give a negative...

I don't know if this deliberate?
+5/-5 was set on mods, I'll revert that change, was new in svn.
I can only have 3 downloads active at the moment before hitting the 403

Seems to have resolved itself.
Some of the images are not displaying correctly today?

New server, check that your dns are updated
on CMD run "ping saki.imouto.org"

I missed the post about the new server. How long will the DNS take to propagate I wonder?
We had a dns problem earlier >_>; should propagate everywhere

MRTG Graphs are up:
http://mrtg.imouto.org/ - main server (hosts other things as well)
http://saki.imouto.org/mrtg/ - Image server 1 (only hosts images)
Pool Import annoyance :

When importing stuff into a pool, newest ones are added last!?

Should revert the order they are shown...
ID descending not
ID ascending ...

Well its kind of personal taste... Although I think its better if newer posts show up first instead of last...
