JIYkp said: I used to download images by saving through the link underneath the thumbnails, but recently I've noticed that some images that should be downloaded as png (such as vectors and extracts) are automatically downloaded as jpeg, when before it would have been a png.
How does this system work? Because I don't want to have to view the image and specify that I want a png every time I'm downloading an image with transparency.
Unfortunately, the links bellow the thumbnails are all JPEGs; which is why it's resized to 3500px max height/width. The only way I know to download extractions and such as PNG is to view the post from the thumbnail and download the PNG from there. The option should be bellow the JPEG one.
As a side note, extractions have completely black as a background. Since the JPEG format generated here seems to make the default color for transparent black. So you can use that to discern which one to download as PNG.
