テーマは日本ということで？卑弥呼をモチーフにしたオリジナルキヤラクターです。
翡翠の勾玉的なビジュアルと巫女のイメージでまとめています。実際の巫女服とは全然違うデザインのはずなのにちゃんと巫女服に見えるのは、この赤白カラ一リングの強烈なイメージでしようか。
和服的なデザインと黒髪ストレートの相性が良いので、ところどころの極端なデザインもなんとなくまとまりました。
背景の雲や川を表すような線の流れは、昔の襖絵なんかのパロディ的な感覚です。昔から日本人はデフォルメ好きというか、モノを単純化して描くのが好きなのではないかと思っています。
The theme is to be ‘Japan’? In that case I have produced an original character based on the mythical queen of Japan, Himiko.
I created it by combining the images of a jade magatama (curved bead) with a miko (shrine maiden). Although the clothing is a completely different design to that of real miko, it creates an image of a miko's costume, and I think that this is due to the powerful image of the red and white coloring.
A kimono-like design goes well with straight black hair so despite the radical elements, here and there, I think the picture comes together well. The background of flowing lines, resembling clouds or rivers, is a parody of the paintings on traditional sliding doors.
