So I used midzki's paper texture filtering action set as part of this set. It looks pretty good, except now I have "midzki textures" in some of the dark places. I'm going back to the Kiseki book after this (only half done...). Moeoh has cheap, sucky paper.

The color might look a bit yellowish because I didn't try futzing with it, but it's less neon than Akibarika's scans.

edit: SciFi, what do you want fixed? I didn't bother filling in some of those little triangles on the side. Also, that crap you see? It's texture. :/

I tend to get the same results, with low-contrast detail getting smeared too much for me. I find it easier to live with the texture, personally...

#3 and #6 are the plain filtered versions that I overlaid on the paper texture layers to get the final images (2 and 5).
There is lots of nics from the binding left.
I would have done it since its simple to do but I don't have time with a group project deadline next week.
You guys really work so hard for fixing nice images, I'm very impressed.
I don't understand much of what you are talking about, but awesome job, my friends.
Fixing dozens of holes in dozens of images takes forever. If there's just a couple I'll fix them, but otherwise I generally just crop it out.

Combination of -alpha 0 Greyc & high-freq 0 NI on AM screening will make it (>ヮ<)v

guess the problems,

1) thin paper has low white point, and textured paper has high black point. they would be clipped more, but it'll enhance contrast unnaturally high. even though reduce contrast with curves, saturation may become low. very complicated :/

2) I hadn't adjusted colors on the black point accurately at that time, then if the black point was high unexpectedly, color balance on the darks were also :/
