The remaining pictures I have are too small, even this one might not make it... I can never find anything bigger than this for this artisit...

Though some other mods disagrees, if it's under 1000x1000. I will seriously consider deleting it.

pixiv isn't about the best place to go about looking for images to post too.
Then an opinion from another mod.
"images couldn't cover 800x600 are prohibited, others are depends on quality (or contexts... if they have some other value to show the members)"
Since 1600px is already too small for me, there are no big difference between 1600px and 1000px. but if we allow 800x600, then many craps will overflow.
at least, small resolutions won't harm dovac's HD, cuz I'm consuming half of this (* ̄▽ ̄*)
and more, pixiv's small images are better than crap scans

I don't know where it comes from. I remember it was Radioactive's personal view, but I never heard dovac, or peto admit it.
The unofficial mod guidelines are 1000 on one side. I have to say I'm more concerned about the quality then image resolution.

then we need to clarify it now. I couldn't find any practical meaning of "1000". I'd require of impactive reason to make 1000 is reasonable.

yeah. that's the thing I'm only care about.

ps: it's my personal opinion.
I won't see all posts are filled with few person who knows how to get high quality images. it's getting like to see elites power obsession, which I hate it more than everything.. I like to be more open and freely.
you know why I rejected to be a mod.. cuz I'm always anti-power.

I can't recall why we plucked that figure from the air. It is probably so we don't cover the same ground as danbooru.

Have a read through of forum #288

I'm sure I recall you threatening to go on a deletion frenzy?
Sorry I have no time to read forum #288 today, discussion is postponed tommorow.

Cuz I was a plain member, which has a job to claim the power :p
after I have a power, I don't use it until claimed from members.
For some reason I feel responsible for this mess. Anyway, I will make sure the next posts will be larger.
I wasted time to read forum #288 :/
It's completely outdated and not related to the current site.
no one mentioned the meaning of high-resolution & no one knows what is high quality at that time.

we should care about the form of image source instead of pixels size, which is just a trick to fake people.
Went and reread the thread. Sadly it became a political debate in which I forgot.

And for those interested, i'm gonna be taking this discussion into the same thread. As it serves the same purpose and we'll be discussing the same topic as before.

Sorry, I don't understand you? There are other discussions about image quality/size in the comments/forum but that is AFAIK the only official one from dovac.

Yeah, let's move this discussion there.

Yeah, feel bad ;D. They're so caught up in finding about the accepted resolution that they've ignored your post and didnt bother to say "it's ok, it doesn't matter" or something.
