Been wondering this for a while now. Is there any kind of significance to the eye patch stuff?
All I can think is "Yarrr pirates. Oh wait no.. well then accident or something, poor girl." But a random thought of it possibly meaning more than that to other cultures than my own has been nagging in the back of my mind. So what's the deal if there is any significance at all...?

I doubt this but maybe it gives more focus to the other eye?
Or maybe there's like some sort of special equipment in the eye patch to see something the other couldn't do...or some ability to monitor certain movements like Naruto's Deidara?

maybe it's because of Rei from evagelion she used that a long time a go and she is one of the fav anime chars to the public but it can be older then that but it's just an idea

If she's hiding it for that reason, she must be ashamed of it then. I would like to know what color the other one is though.
