I love how japanese make the most stupid mistakes trying to romanize occidental names.

"Teletha"... yeah, right. Why don't they just stick with "Teresa"? More believable.

And what does pronunciation have to do with the fact that the romanization is horrid and innacurate, considering the origins of the character?

I doubt there are any italians called "Teletha". A name like "Teresa" is more common in latin-based languages.

Te - re - sa. テレサ (as we pronounce it in spanish). All of them are syllables that exist on Japanese. Do you really have a hard time pronouncing that kind of name?. I thought the L was the one hard for Japanese while the R was the one hard for chinese. How do you pronounce 忘れる then?

Wow! I don't know how I miss your replies. You guy have no idea about the Japanese language, yes? I'll say it again! THERE IS NO "R" in the Japanese Kanji. The "ra" "re" "ri" that you guys refer to is the bastardized romanji that the Westerners and Europeans gave our kanji alphabet. for instance if you listen to a TRUE japanese person pronounce "REI" it actually sound like "LAY". So it's actually YOU gajins pronouncing our kanji alphabet wrong.
