I pray I'm right about the girl at the top being Medicine because the only doll person that sticks to my head is Alice.

Correct me if I'm wrong...and leave a comment on correcting me so I know.

The katakana says "Medeisun Merankorii", so you're right.

If you have semi-decent character-recognition skills, you'll do just fine.
A good idea is to make sure you have a grasp on the characters that look similar and remember what makes them different.

No probs.
Just be prepared that once you're done with the 92 Hiragana/Katakana characters, you then have to deal with almost 2000 kanji characters.
...It's hard. Even for the Japanese.

If you need to shorten my name to something, please use "Flame" instead of "Naked".
"Naked" isn't even a noun. It's an adjective (descriptive word).
