All I can think is... SOLAR FLARE!
Uh... I never heard that shit in Dragon Ball.

Closest thing I remember is... uh... the Taiyo Ken. The LatAm version of DB respected the original japanese names of the moves, so I dunno anything about the horrible (like 99% of amerrikan dubs) english version (except the fact that it's HORRIBLE, filled with people that knows shit about acting).

Amen brother. The dub from spain is terrible too, they call almost every power 'Onda vital' (Vital wave). So I think we latinos win this one, as we win with many other dubs (sorry USA, you get screwed too many times thanx to 4kids and the like).

BTW, this image is perfect for one of those Sparta Remixes.

Hahaha yeah xDD
I'm from Spain, and I can say Spanish dubbers are spoiler
I think it's because it is so old...
But I hate dubbers in our country. They are always the same ones and you can find the same voice for Sasuke and anybody else. xD
I always watch anime in subtitled version... =w=
I wouldn't go that far. Spain dubs are... well, I guess they're good, if you live in Spain. I've heard some works from there, and while I can't really stand their words and accent (for obvious reasons) but the acting is nice. Well, that's not really the case with DB lol, but you get the idea.

Anime dubs on Brazil aren't that bad. But movies... HAHAHA, good luck.

The same "phenomenon" you said happens here too, Osikaa. ♪

I'm from Honduras viejo. I try to write in english as much as I can, cause people seem to like it that way in here (even if it is a little hard to me, I appreciate the practice).

While I prefer mexican dubs way more than the spanish ones, when it comes to fansubs I prefer the ones made by spanish people, cause they tend to put more attention to orthography and grammar, and because I like some of the 'weird' words they use sometimes (like '¡mecachis!'. I loved to read that on Kannagi).

Oh, and a little comment about the picture. I don't like it when they draw the upper teeth like that. For some weird reason it reminds me of this:
