over 14 years agoIf you're willing to be spoiled... spoilerThe character is originally male, but he's not human, and for some reason, unlike the rest of his kind, his gender is somewhat mutable. So, due to circumstances midway into the story, he begins to turn into a female - the most obvious sign of this being his breasts. As for his genitals... Well, as far as I know, that hasn't been specifically brought up (though I'm not up-to-date with the manga), but they're probably changing too given that his gender is supposed to be changing. So, he's male, but he's not. And it's kind of like genderswap, but not... So, you can't really tag him very well - especially since the change is gradual.
