Maybe someone can explain this to me, She's a ghost correct?
If so, why do artist depict her eating? Do ghosts in Touhou need to eat as well?
I'm not complaining at the artwork or anything, this is a cool picture, I would just like to know why she eats.
Ever consider that rather than needing to eat she simply enjoys to?

Ah, I never thought of it like that. Thank you for opening my mind SciFi. Now I know, I have gotten that feeling where I wanted to eat more but couldn't. It makes sense now!

Actually, drawing Yuyuko eating stuff started because of her's and Youmu's story in Imperishable Night - wherein, being her typical strange self, instead of admitting she knows what's going on, she pretends to be going on a food tour of Gensokyo. She even eats Mystia (or is implied to have eaten her).
Naked Flame sai:

Did some research on this scary subject o-o; , yuyuko just tried to eat her. Mystia appears in Touhou Sangatsusei (manga) which takes place after IN.
Like some ghosts in buddhist books, she's a Gaki, a ghost that is hungry for something (Not always food), but no matter how much it consumes, it will never be full and will suffer for eternity. Or something.
