the rock on the upper left looked like a scratch, on another note this is too interesting to pass up so does any one have any information on where it comes from, what going on or anything?

Well, this is what the artist wrote on the Pixiv page where they posted the image:

First line is the title of the image, rest is description. I can't read Japanese so I'm not sure what it says exactly.
